nutshell chapter "Faith" and "Freedom" of "You can live like this?" Don Luigi Giussani

Last night Henry gave us a summary of the work on two chapters ..
Before you know, to learn, we must begin
something, an encounter, a word, an event that does not sufficiently explain why, but enough for me to begin the road to Christ.
... so before you know it is reasonable to begin with ...

What is faith? • Recognize a witness
e darne un giudizio ragionevole di attendibilità, per poter credere a ciò che afferma.
• La storia umana e la stessa convivenza umana è basata sulla fede/fiducia del prossimo: altrimenti come faccio a fidarmi dei consigli del mio dottore, del pane del panettiere, ecc.

La ragione è la caratteristica più esaltata nella fede.
Se non sono attento, concentrato, forte, leale con me stesso, acuto nell’osservare e quindi non uso la “ragione” come faccio a fidarmi di chi ho davanti?

La credibilità del testimone
La fiducia è un problema di coerenza con una evidenza della ragione raggiunta, direttamente o attraverso un testimone, subito o in seguito ad a partnership. (P. 41 - although it is best explained on the religious sense).

Faith in Christ: A new fact in the world.

generates an exceptional encounter I WONDER with a witness who reasonably believed to be reliable, after which I have the responsibility to choose (freedom) to follow Christ.

What is freedom?
and satisfaction, and a wish fulfilled, accomplished, perfect.
is directly proportional to the closeness to God (the closer you are to God the more one is free)

search of freedom
continuamene God encourages us to search for freedom (and therefore closer to him) through its creation and its creatures.

Freedom imperfect
Until we are with Him, and we human beings can live an imperfect freedom, because we will always face a choice between good and less good, between good and evil, between attraction stronger but more distant from God and attraction weaker but closer to God


Terms of freedom to be able to choose the most attractive for us that makes us closer to God we must have:
- Consciousness of God's plan that he for us;
- Government of himself: to have the "breakout" to get away from situations "negative"

The company
But to succeed in the two conditions of freedom must have the help of a community that educates us on those terms.
Why follow the community, your parish, prayer groups, etc.. and follow Christ
